In NDTV’s show, Junaid Khan said about the audition for Laal Singh Chaddha, ‘Sometimes you get some parts and some you don’t. It is true that I had given some auditions before Maharaj. They didn’t happen at that time. Papa has talked about the audition for Laal Singh Chaddha, so I can say yes. When I did the audition, Papa liked it a lot but the condition of the film was that you will not be able to make that film with a new actor. That’s why I didn’t get a chance to do that film.’
He further said, ‘But I will admit that if I were not Aamir Khan’s son, I would probably not have got Maharaj.’
